June 2009 witnessed the 2nd inaugural meeting of the newly appointed board of directors held at the company headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. Suburban West Africa’s recent changes and implementation of the new Corporate Governance policy by KPMG are the final steps in ensuring a fully equipped structure. The objective of the newly appointed board members is to strengthen the company with their vast wealth of knowledge.

Mr.Bolaji Balogun who is one of the newly appointed directors of the board has over fifteen years experience in mobile telecommunications and has led advisory teams in major corporate and complex transactions, including energy, telecommunications and financial services. Alongside with him is Mr.Omamofe Boyo who is the Chief operating Officer and Deputy Managing Director of Oando Plc. Mr. Boyo has a vast experience with major key players in the Oil & Gas Industry and an extensive skill in development and management of the Operations department.
